Does anyone know why I keep seeing certain images all red, when watching them through Windlight? Are there workarounds? grapichs card is ATI X300.. posted by Sered Woollahra on Vassar using a blogHUD : [permalink]
Thanks for the suggestion, but it doesn't seem to be highlight transparent. It was turned off! But, if I enable it, other parts (shadows, most notably) become red indeed, which looks more or less the same as my screenshot. But the areas that were red, stay red wether I enable or disable highlight transparent.
I think it's related to jpg rendering or something like that.

Looks to me like you have highlight transparent switched on. Use CTRL-ALT-T to turn it off and on.

Chris, I'm having the same problem. I'm gonna keep looking around for the solution.
In the mean time, I have found the solution, it's the 'beacons always on' setting, under the view menu. You can toggle it with control-N.
In the main viewer (1.18.5.3) this setting is disabled by default, but in Windlight it is enabled; hence the confusion.
